Stem cell involves with training adaptation

Living in a changing environment, our normal cell turnover rate is ~100 billion per day, balanced by equal rate of cell death and cell regeneration. The turnover rate is subjected to be changed depending on the magnitude of environmental challenge. Stem cell, a set of cell type that is able to self-renew for replacement of aged, unhealthy, or damaged cells in tissues. A research project is going on in our research team to determine the role of stem cell in training adaptation.
