Circulatory Physiology in Exercise Training
Principal Investigator: Dr Ai-Lun Yang
Mailing Address: Laboratory of Circulatory Research, 101 Jhongcheng Rd. Sec. 2, Shihlin District, Taipei, Taiwan 111.
Research Interest: The research interests of this laboratory are mainly focused on studying exercise effects on normal and pathological cardiovascular function, in both animal and human models. Specifically, we aim to explore the effects of exercise intervention on cardiopulmonary function in athletes, hypertensive, and diabetes patients, etc. Students will learn how to conduct specialized lab techniques, such as vascular function test, heart rate (HR) and blood pressure (BP) measures, aerobic capacity test, and other exercise responses. The outcomes from our experiments have been published in various international peer-reviewed journals.
